‼️NEW OBSTACLE UNLOCKED🛴🔨

Me and my brother said screw it and built our own grind box 😂 2x6 frame, 1/2” OSB and angle iron down the side so we can lock in some grinds 😮‍💨

Nothing to fancy, just some lumber, tools and a idea 😂🔥

Now we gotta see how long this thing survives 👀🛴

Test drive = SUCCESS 😮‍💨🔥

Intake is officially intaking, she’s running good, and NO engine codes 🙌🏼

Feels real good to finally have the mechanical side coming together. Now we can move on to the next stages of getting Gennie ready for the wedding 👀🏁

One step closer 🤙🏼

Torqued everything down, got the intake back on, and finally fired Gennie up 😮‍💨🔥

Not gonna lie, hearing her start after all that work had me HYPED 😂🤙🏽

Just a few more maintenance things to knock out, then we’re officially onto the cosmetics 👀 Wedding getaway car is getting closer 🏁💍

What’s up, I’m Zach! 🤙🏽

I’m restoring my 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T and turning it into the getaway car for my wedding this October. 💍🏎️

I’m DIY’ing this build one problem, broken bolt, and questionable decision at a time 😂🔧

Figured it was time to actually introduce myself since you’re gonna be seeing a lot more of this car.

Follow along and watch me get this thing wedding-ready. 🤙🏽

💥Life goes on and on and on… even when the bolt doesn’t 😭🔩💀

‼️Got the turbo bolted up and started torquing everything down to the exhaust, making some solid progress… then SNAP 🫠😂

One bolt really said that’s enough progress for today🫪

Just another part of bringing this Genesis back to life 🤝🏼 one broken bolt, one headache, and one step closer at a time.

WE KEEP MOVING 🫡🔥

✨Another one wrapped up 🤘🏽

Finished out this bathroom mirror install with a smooth finish, fresh paint, and the mirror hung back in place 😎Added small clear top brackets for a little extra security and to make sure everything stays exactly where it should 👌🏽

🧼Clean repairs. Solid installs. Done right.
When it’s done right, it’s R-Rated. 🛠️

Turbo is officially locked in 🔧💨 All the bolts are torqued to spec and we’re moving right along. One step closer to hearing this thing fire up again 😮‍💨🔥

Slow progress is still progress. Onto the next step 🏁

🙏🏽Old turbo OUT. New turbo IN. 🔧🔥

After fighting those bolts way longer than I’d like to admit, we finally got the old turbo completely pulled and the new one sitting in its new home. Everything is only hand-tight for now, but seeing it back in the car feels SOO good 🫪

Still plenty left to do, but the Genesis is one step closer to being back on the road ✨🏁
