✨ The Pye Surf Ski Classic ✨

A classic surf ski race held in the 1980s, 250klms over four days, with paddlers racing from @forster_slsc to @bondisurf.club .

The 1984 race will be posted this week on GESS YouTube, with some classic clips to come on here featuring Big Darrel Eastlake, Helicopter Rescues and Paddlers with serious hypothermia.

The Pye Classic was modelled off legendary South African Ski Race the @challengebook_pe2el which is a race many Aussies have competed in @oceanpaddleraus @jezzacotter @caineeckstein @murraystewart_989

The ‘84 race was headlined by two time Australian Open Ski Champion, and surf ski legend Chris Bond, from The Entrance SLSC.
