22 years as a Type 1 diabetic today 🤍🤍. This year more than ever, I’m grateful for it. Grateful for the resilience it’s taught me, the empathy it’s given me, the life saving technology that’s available, all the people who supported me, the appreciation I have for every single day and how far I’ve come in terms of acceptance of my body.

If there’s one thing I hope anyone reading this takes away, it’s that adversity is cool and sexy when you learn to own it. Being different and being strong is what makes you human 💅🏼
