I have been dreading this post since my senior season started. Running my last race in my blue uniform will be a feeling I’ll never forget. It doesn’t feel real that my last high school track meet is over. This sport has been my second home and gave me some of the hardest challenges but also the best memories. Closing this chapter as a 12x state champ is something freshman year me could only dream about. This isn’t the way I wanted my season to end, but i will forever be thankful for the opportunity and privilege to run at the highest level. My identity is not in the time that I ran on the track but it is in Christ. It’s surreal knowing I’ll never put my uniform on again and run with my best friends and the friends I made along the way. No medal or title will mean more than the friendships and memories I’ve made. I’d give anything to relive it all. Thank you to every coach, friend, teammate, and family member for believing in me when I couldn’t believe it myself. Every person that ever cheered for me, pushed me, prayed for me, or picked me up, thank you. I thank God for all of it, I give all of the glory to God. Every record I broke and every race I won was all for God. As hard as it is to say goodbye, I’m so excited for the next chapter. Thank you, high school track, for everything you gave me. It’s only up from here 💚

I don’t really know how to write this but first off I just want to thank everyone who has been with me through it all in baseball. Baseball is the only thing that has ever made me feel like I belong and now it’s gone. Im going to miss it for the rest of my life and the thought of never going to state is going to haunt me for a while. I want to thank all of my teammates for being there for me when I needed them most. I hope I can find something that made me feel the way baseball did or at least try to find something else to care about the I cared about baseball. #immamissit #biggame #anythingforsomecheese

As the season comes to an end, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey I’ve had playing baseball. I am going to miss the crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd, and the countless hours spent practicing with my teammates. Baseball has been more than just a game to me—it has been a place of growth, friendship, and unforgettable memories.
I am deeply thankful for everyone who has supported me along the way. From my coaches who challenged me to be my best, to my teammates who became like family, and to my friends and family who cheered me on through every high and low—your encouragement has meant the world. Each of you has played a part in shaping my experience, and I am truly grateful.
Although I will miss being on the field, I will carry the lessons, friendships, and memories with me forever. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. #7 out😔
