Today marks the end of an incredible chapter for me at NSU University School. After seven unforgettable years as Head Varsity Basketball Coach, today was my last day on the sideline with the Sharks. I’m filled with gratitude and a little sadness as I say goodbye to this special place that has become like family.
I’m beyond excited to announce that I’ve accepted a scouting position with the Sacramento Kings. I want to thank the Kings organization and especially Scott Perry for giving me the opportunity to return to the NBA, where my coaching journey first began. This is a dream come true, and I’m humbled to be heading back to the league.
None of this would have been possible without the people who believed in me from the start. Dr. Kopas and Paul Herfurth—thank you for taking a chance on me seven years ago and giving me the opportunity to lead this program. Your trust changed my life.
To my children, @maleaaoliver , @jackson.oliver18 , and Isabella: thank you for sharing your dad with the game I love. Being a head coach meant time away from you, late nights, and weekends on the road, but you never complained and always supported me. You allowed me to live out a dream, and now I promise to be there for every moment I possibly can. I love you more than you’ll ever know.
To @uyhav7fi ,Matt, Dan, Donnie, Jon, Ms. Karol, Scott, and Ms. Cindy—thank you for everything you did to support our basketball program this year. Your time, energy, and care made all the difference.
Dr. Thompson, Mrs. Crawford and Ms. Stacey you are simply the best administrators anyone could ask for. Your leadership, support, and genuine investment in our students and staff set the standard. I’m a better coach and person because of you.
And to all my former players: thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and trust. You showed up every day ready to work, to compete, and to grow—not just as players, but as young men. Coaching you has been the privilege of my career, and I’ll always carry the memories we made together.
NSU University School will always have a piece of my heart. Thank you for an amazing seven years.
On to the next chapter. Go Sharks 🦈 Forever grateful. 🙏

Freshmen Football Homecoming 2025

HSE freshman team pulled off a commanding victory over Noblesville 42-12. @kdanthony3 had two touchdowns and Knox earlewin had an interception and multiple tackles. HSE will take on Franklin Central next week.
