Today, our guy turns 50. 🥳

Saturday we got to celebrate him with our kids and their significant others and somehow managed a whole evening with no kiddos! 😂 Pizza and beer at Wooden Legs, a Jackrabbit game, and then darts and pool at Sully’s.

But this night meant a little more to me than just celebrating a birthday.

Ben is the guy who does everything for everyone else. He works hard, takes care of the people he loves, is always willing to help, and asks for very little in return. So for his 50th, I really just wanted to give him one night where he was the special one. Where the people he loves showed up for him, laughed with him, celebrated him, and reminded him how much he means to all of us.

Looking at this picture makes my heart pretty damn full. These are the people we raised, the people they chose to love, and the man right in the middle who has given so much of himself to all of us.

Welcome to 50, babe. I’ve been here for a year already, so I’ll show you around. 😂🫶🏻🥰
