Looking back at our production of Jagged Little Pill from this summer!

So many incredibly talented artists came together, both onstage and behind the scenes, to bring this powerful story to life. We couldn’t be prouder of everything we created together.

And while we’re looking back, we’re also getting ready to look ahead… Keep your eyes peeled. 👀

I’ve always loved this little epilogue, as we get to witness the joy found in community and see how each character is starting to heal their wounds. It’s such a nice way to wrap everything up ☺️

But this production adds a very important element to this familiar sequence. One which ties a bow on this MJ-focused narrative in the best way ✨

It has been exactly one month since I had the privilege of witnessing NGT’s production of “Jagged Little Pill,” so I thought today would be a good day to share the video I took of the bows from that closing performance.

Every single player on this stage deserves their flowers. As does everyone working behind the scenes, including @_lanaschwartz_, the incredibly talented director of the show.

Lana is also the founder of @nxtgenerationtheatrics, and I want to give a special shoutout to this company, because knowing that this whole thing was put together by young artists just makes it that much more impressive to me. I feel like I got to witness a bunch of future Broadway stars before they’ve been discovered, and that is perhaps the best gift a theatre buff like me could receive ✨ I cannot wait to see what these performers do next!

I, of course, have many things to say about the show, and I promise a detailed review is coming very very soon. So keep an eye out! 👀

Oh Jagged Little Pill how I’m going to miss you and this amazing family you’ve given me. I have been searching for the words to express how much this show, cast, crew, & everyone/thing in this production has meant to me, but none of my words would do it justice. Thank you to this show and everyone involved for healing my Jagged Little Heart, I miss you all so much and I hope we all get to work together again so very soon and in a way that feels as special as this did. Love and miss you all
xoxo,
Cosette
