❤️ EAST JACKSON, YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN MY HEART! ❤️

Today, I had the pleasure of participating in the East Jackson Forum, a place that holds special memories for me. I grew up knowing East Jackson and even attended church there with my cousin Millie. It was wonderful to reconnect with community leaders and hear their concerns about the future of our community and our youth.

One of the major discussions centered on funding a juvenile detention center. While I understand that these facilities may be necessary, I believe we must invest just as much in prevention as we do in detention. We need more mental health services, youth mentorship programs, recreational activities, and opportunities that keep our young people engaged and moving in the right direction.

As the saying goes, “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.” We must start investing in our children early, before they end up in the criminal justice system.

We also discussed the possibility of an all-male charter school at Lane College. Under my Moses Plan, I would explore legislation to support youth mentorship initiatives and innovative educational opportunities that help our young people succeed.

As your Independent candidate for Congress in Tennessee’s 8th Congressional District, I believe in investing in PEOPLE, not just building more systems to manage problems we could have prevented.

🗳️ Today is the second day of early voting! Let’s get the word out, take our family and friends to the polls, and vote INDEPENDENT for real change!

We cannot keep doing the same things and expecting different results. It’s time to put people before politics and give our communities a real voice in Washington!

Affordability is a real problem for our country right now. I will gight to reduce the cost of living for all of us in Congress.

Raising the minimum wage should be a federal issue, and making sure Tennessee families make enough to support their family is a high priority of mine in Congress.

Last week I got to hang for a while with the @jacksoncotndems at my very first Poke Sallet festival. I witnessed @aurorawellsforjacksoncomayor get dunked for a good cause, met a dog, met some goats, saw some fantastic art, and listened to good music.

This campaign has allowed me to explore neighboring countries and experience Tennessee in a whole new way. And I’m not going to stop after Election Day, because it’s the people I meet who reinforce why I’m running.

Tennesseans need representation that listens to them and acts in their interest at every level, including party leadership.

My election isn’t until August but it’s still important to go and vote in the local Democratic primary. Your vote is your investment in the future, and early voting is happening now!

Rural Tennessee is not a dumping ground for projects decided somewhere else, even when those decisions come from local elected officials like sheriffs or county commissions.

If we believe in protecting farmland, we have to mean it. Farmland should feed families, fuel local economies, and strengthen rural Tennessee, not be handed over to outside corporate interests or short sighted deals without community input. #tn06 #tennessee #farmers #rural #nofarmarnofood

On Sat. Jan.10th, I spent the whole day in Cumberland County having three different meetings. The first was with the wonderful Cumberland Democratic Party who had Natasha from Jackson County as a guest speaker. She taught us more about Christian nationalism and what is happening in Gainesboro. I then had my own meetings at the Democratic headquarters and Fairfield Glades. We had a great time, met new people and had great discussions. See you again soon, I'm sure. VOTE FOR LORE!

Hi everyone, this is an extremely important article that everyone in Tennessee needs to read especially if you live in the Congressional 6th District. We are being overrun by Christian nationalists in our communities. In this article it will give you a lot of knowledge and wisdom as to how to talk to other people about this subject. Just so you know, I've talked to many Republicans, Independents and Libertarians who also are very concerned and have had it with these groups of people trying to take over their towns and their counties. This is a very good subject to find common ground with other Tennesseans.
