“By God’s grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving Him by spreading this Good News.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬

God has given me the opportunity, the past two years, to serve this wonderful community in Cactus, TX. My goal is fulfill this calling to the best of my ability. During this trip, His Truth continuously became clear, although I did struggle with doubt of belonging. I made new friends, met new kids, reconnected with previous people, and fellowshipped with many. I can say I have spiritually grown so much over this past week. I learned to be humble before the Lord, live my life for Him and no one else, forgive others so that I can truly be forgiven, pray for others, and so much more.

Cactus is special to us all for our own reasons. I thank the church for allowing me to come the past couple years and to have the opportunity to experience such a great place. The kids here are amazing and the memory is unmatched. From our names to stories taught the previous years, the kids remember it all. I can’t wait for next year so I can continue my calling and my spiritual journey.

“Thank You Lord for this wonderful experience to grow close to You and to help others know You as well. Continue to work in Cactus and help all of the people there come to know You and serve You. I thank You Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”
