We didn’t want every design to just have a fish on it. We wanted each one to represent something about being outdoors. This one reminds us why we keep coming back to the water. Another design from The First Cast Collection. Built for the Outdoors. - Backwater Co.

Every brand has a story. This one started about a year ago. One day I saw someone wearing a white T-shirt with a swim jig on the back. It immediately caught my attention, so I asked where they got it. I remember thinking, "Finally... I found the brand I've been looking for." I've always wanted outdoor apparel that I'd be proud to wear every day, so I was excited to see what else they had. But after looking through their website, I realized they only had a few really cool designs. That started a search that lasted for months. I wasn't looking for just one cool shirt—I was looking for a brand. A brand that represented bass fishing, hunting, early mornings at the boat ramp, campfires, weekends at the lake, and the lifestyle I love. The more I searched, the more I realized I could find companies that focused on one thing, but I never found a brand that truly brought the entire outdoor lifestyle together. Especially when it came to bass fishing. Eventually, I stopped searching. I decided to build the brand I had been looking for all along. That's how Backwater Co. began. This is more than just apparel to me. My goal isn't simply to create shirts with cool graphics. It's to build a brand that represents the outdoor lifestyle and the memories that come with it—a brand people are proud to wear every day. This is only the beginning, and I'm excited to have you all along for the journey. Built for the Outdoors. — Backwater Co. — Jackson Parks
