Have you ever tried sculling like this before? Lose the ice cream scooper and change up the way you scull! #swim #swimcoach #swimmer

Slap on some resistance. Get up to the blocks and sprint. Yeah, you’ll work on technique too but if you’re throwing down main sets at a medium pace and not giving max effort then you’re missing out! #swim #swimcoach #swimmer

Highly suggest getting the relay together to test how NSYNC you are. #swim #swimmer #clap

Rare footage of Ray Bussard creating the Tennessee Turn in the 1970s. 😂 Swimming history was made that day.

Historical reenactment may not be entirely accurate.

In all seriousness, this might have been the most fun drill our coach had us do in high school.

You’ve heard your coach tell you to “relax,” but what do they actually mean? One place to focus on is your recovery.
Instead of slowing your arm down and trying to control it, stay loose and throw the arm forward. Let the momentum do the work. Try it the next time you jump in and see if you get a little more glide and distance per stroke. #swim #swimcoach #swimmer

Experiment with your underwater dolphin kick. We’re watching the greatest in the business apply this technique to their underwaters.

Stop popping up on your open turns! Here are two simple ways to teach swimmers to stay low at the wall:

Hold a chair over the swimmer at the wall. If they pop up too high during the turn, they’ll hit it. This teaches them to stay low throughout the turn. No flimsy plastic chair? Hold a kickboard over their head instead. Same concept. Stay underneath it and don’t pop up!

Stay low into the wall. Stay low coming out. 💪🏾

Ps: who’s gonna call @jackstp17 out on grabbing the wall like you did for my last video.
