endless summer vacation

i’ve never had a wedding, but my 34th felt like the next best thing 💫

this summer was six weeks, seven countries, and soOo many memories i don’t know where to begin. somewhere around week three ibiza hit and i can’t thank this group of friends enough for making me feel deeply loved through every second of it.

highlights include: a boat to formentera, tons of dancing and house music, spritz’s, tattoos at our villa (a house i’ve only seen in movies) and we couldn’t celebrate without a little ceremony. we began the day with 🍄 cacao, and a womb ceremony. untapped. sacred. the kind of moment in sisterhood i know i’ll carry with me forever.

i wish i could say that, at 34, i have so much more figured out. but honestly, this birthday met me with even more questions.

what is my next chapter?
where will i eventually raise a family?
where will this purpose in healing lead me?
what will these next few years have in store?

what i do know is that i feel the greatest sense of freedom i’ve ever felt in my life.

there’s such a chokehold placed on women in their late twenties and early thirties. the pressure to follow a timeline and build a life that looks a certain way by a certain age. i thank God that somewhere in my early thirties, i began releasing the vision of what i thought my life was supposed to look like and started leaning into the path unfolding in front of me instead.

so far, that path has been filled with travel, friendship, fun, independence, meaningful work, trust, and more love than i could have planned for myself. SO take the trip, see the world, fck pto, make it your mission to find your purpose, regulate before anything, be present in the chapter you’re in now .. not where you THINK you need to be.

34, i may not know exactly where we’re going but i’ve never felt more open to find out

Did you know they make energy gels for ravers now?! Yup, my friends at @plurahlabs recently launched rave gels called Festifuel and I gave it a try over the weekend at an extended set 😎

Started to feel my energy drop right around midnight and honestly felt a smooth burst of energy within about 10 minutes! I tried the electric lime flavor cuz I’m a sucker for anything lemon or lime 🍋‍🟩

Can’t wait to try them for my upcoming festivals when I’ll be dancing 8+ hours 🤭

i turn 34 this month.

and if the last few years have taught me anything, it’s that not every chapter is meant to last forever. my 20’s felt like a rocket ship of chaos, my 30’s have felt like a rebirth to a quiet homecoming

people i thought would be in my life forever, left.
a career i never imagined walking away from, became a chapter i had outgrown.
versions of myself i fought hard to become were quietly asking to be released.
parts of myself i refused to witness, came gushing to the surface.

for a long time, i thought endings meant failure.
but now i see them as invitations.
because some chapters have to end for your story to continue.

this poem has me in a choke hold because it reminds me how temporary, beautiful, and sacred this whole experience really is.

i’m grateful for my health and my families health.
for the people who stayed.
for the lessons from the people who didn’t.
for the places i’ve traveled.
for every version of me that got me here.
and for a partner who supports me endlessly as we build a life together.

the older i get, the less interested i am in holding on to what’s leaving and the more interested i am in being fully present for what’s arriving.

someone told me this week we’re not human, we’re merely having a human moment.
what a gift it is to be here at all 💫
