dear @texaswvc,

i came into college with a very broken relationship with volleyball. no matter how many club switches, private lessons, or position changes i made, i never felt like i truly belonged or deserved playing time.

despite this, i still found myself endlessly scrolling through volleyball clips on instagram and missing the joy that the sport used to give me. i ended up stumbling across the TWVC instagram page, figured i'd at least go to open gym and see how i felt about it (after i accidentally showed up to men's open gym the day before and got respectfully kicked out😃). i instantly felt connected to the girls there, and loved the competitive yet supportive atmosphere. i tried out (as a setter incase you didn't know) and never looked back.

somehow, this club trusted me enough to serve in a vice president position, and i'm so grateful i have been able to help new players feel welcomed into the program and give volleyball a second chance- just like our last officers did when i was just a wide-eyed freshman.

thank you TWVC for an incredible four years. this club has brought me some of my favorite college memories, my closest friendships, and healed my relationship with volleyball.

#6 out!!🔥🔥

p.s. if yall know of any adult leagues in the kyle/austin area please hmu
