Hello, and welcome to the most whimsical and fantastical place on the Internet! This is a reintroduction post for the 2026-2027 school year! . . . Dragon's Gems is a handcrafted small business, creating fantasy inspired jewelry, bookmarks, stickers, and more! We hope to use our brand to inspire, empower individual expression, and to evoke a sense of joy through our handcrafted art. . . . About us: We are roommates who are in our senior year of college at Kent State University. We started Dragon's Gems as a way to channel our own individual artistic pursuits and bring them together to create a small business full of whimsy and joy! . . . Jaclynn (on the right): Hi, I'm Jaclynn! I am a fashion design major with a minor in costume design. I am the one who designs and crafts each jewelry piece. In the future, I hope to have collections based on specific fairytales and fantasy novels, including a special collection that has pieces inspired by the characters in my own fantasy novels. I'm someone who values individuality and self-expression, believing the best pieces in a wardrobe visually show what you love and who you are in a tangible and visual way. . . . Tara (on the left): Hello! My name is Tara! I am a visual communication design major with a minor in solid modeling and animation. I am creating stickers, bookmarks, and, in the future, clay pieces. In my spare time, I love doing my nails, playing video games, and doing more art!. I am always looking to improve and make this a fun experience, and I care more about the unique human aspects of my work than about perfection. Hoping to continue to bring a bit of joy to one's everyday life with the work I create. . . . We hope you'll join us on this new adventure!

A library photoshoot? Yes, please! I had the BEST time shooting part two in this cozy space, and my model brought such a fun, peaceful energy. Every time I step behind the camera, I’m reminded that this gift is from Jesus. He’s the reason I create, the light behind every image, and the foundation of my joy. May all I do point back to Him. So here’s your reminder: check out your local library—it’s more magical than you remember. And while you're at it, send me your favorite books to add to my list! #blessed #readmorebooks #librarylife
