POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I was so glad to be a part of a group of people that were so selfless to give up a Saturday morning to help support this event. Thanks to everyone and SBU that helped me run the booth! 💜 Balance challenges, sit-to-stand showdowns, and lots of conversations about how movement supports brain health. Before the walk, the team also covered the path in chalk messages of hope. 🌼

Thank you to the Alzheimer’s Association. Together, we can #ENDALZ.

This accomplishment means a lot to me, and I’m thankful for all the experiences, lessons, and people who helped shape me throughout this journey. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for everything ahead

Next stop: a PTA program to earn my Physical Therapist Assistant certification and continue pursuing a career helping others improve their health and quality of life. Excited for what the future holds!

Can’t believe we’re at the end of the semester…such a bitter sweet time of year. #professor #athleticperformance #highereducation #teambuilding #exercisescience

Two groups. One week. No limits.
This isn’t just a competition—it’s a culture clash. Every rep, every sprint, every drop of sweat counts. Friendships get tested. Standards get raised.
In the halls of MBU Exercise Science, greatness isn’t given… it’s earned.
Who brings the discipline?
Who brings the fire?
Who defines the culture?
This week… we find out.

16 years, 2 positions, 5 teams, and somehow it’s all over. This sport has been my entire life since I was 5, I fell in love with it early on and now, I’m not sure what exactly I’m going to do without it. The ups and downs were worth every single second of being on the field.

To my team,
You guys are my found family. Over the past four years I have found and built friendships that mean more to me than I could have ever dreamed of and I love all of you for it. Thank you for giving me a place to grow and figure out who I am. This group of girls has the ability to make anyone feel welcome and I am so grateful to have been apart of it for four years.

To my coaches,
Thank you for taking a chance on me. Just a kid from New Hampshire who just wanted to play lacrosse in college. You guys believed in me and pushed me to be the best version of myself I could be, on and off the field and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without it.

To my family,
You have believed in me and watched me grow up playing lacrosse. No matter how many tournaments or practices you all had to endure, you always showed up when I needed you. Every long drive, every early morning or late night, you guys were there for every step of the way.

To my friends,
@jordanm.howe , I wouldn’t be playing this sport if it weren’t for our friendship and your family. You and your family have been with me through the entirety of my lacrosse career, from 1st grade till now, and it has been a wild ride. But from day one, I knew I could always count on you for everything. @maggiethompson_ , thank god you moved to NH in 5th grade. You are the reason I started playing club lacrosse, who else would be my passing partner? The long hot days at tournaments during the summers wouldn’t have been the same without you.
