Prestigious property development in Melbourne.
Blurring the line between luxury and convenience.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Big dig and tight corners. Our gear can handle both.

We’re on the ground at Bridport Street. We got the mini rigs out on this one as well as the excavators. It's a tight site, with heritage out front and a live street on either side. We have the machinery and team suited for this job.

This row of 1901 Victorian shopfronts will be restored and retained, with a new four-storey structure going in behind them. We are making this happen without moving that facade.

The solid line-up: site cut and piling platform, basement retention, piling and capping beams, shotcrete walls and ground anchors, bulk excavation, and survey and monitoring throughout.

This is what we live for! Proud to be on this one with @cobenbuilding @cerastribley, @jacmaxdevelopments, @kellywearstler and @mylesbaldwindesign

This 1901 facade will stay as solid as we are.

We come in early on jobs like this. Design and construct means we're working out how it gets built before anyone turns up with a machine, not pricing someone else's drawing and hoping it works on a site this tight.

Where the rig can physically get to. What sequence keeps the facade stable. Where the anchors go, and in what order.

This one's Bridport Street, Albert Park. A row of Victorian shopfronts restored and retained, with a new four-storey form going in behind them.

The solid line-up: site cut and piling platform, basement retention, piling and capping beams, shotcrete walls and ground anchors, bulk excavation, and survey and monitoring throughout.

The value isn't just in the pour. It's in the thinking that happens before it.

Proud to be on this one with @cobenbuilding and full design and development team @cerastribley, @jacmaxdevelopments, @kellywearstler and @mylesbaldwindesign

DEFINING THE LANGUAGE A super cool residential project in Melbourne, Australia, reimagining a historic building through a contemporary lens. Working closely with the developers and architect, we focused on setting the design language for the entire development, rooted in the city’s urban fabric and architectural context. A sneak peek into the process—my team and I in the studio, collaborating through form, material, and spatial dialogue to create something intentional and deeply connected to place. XK

BOXSHALL | Just over a year since completion, and we’re still in love with Boxshall.

Created in collaboration with @studiopietboon, this project embraces a timeless tonal palette—warm neutrals and natural hues flowing seamlessly from exterior to interior, grounded by accents of sleek black.

A considered design made to endure.

Some buildings have a way of making you pause — not because they’re overtly dramatic, but because there’s something quietly unexpected in how they’re put together.

A slab that feels a little lighter than it should. Levels that gently step and shift. Forms that appear to cascade without drawing too much attention to themselves.

These moments aren’t about spectacle; they’re about restraint, precision and a willingness to play at the edges of what feels familiar.

Here’s a look at a few projects where those subtle architectural gestures add a layer of intrigue to the everyday:

1. Victoria Hill, c.2019
2. Porter Street, c.2020
3. Summit Road, c.2021
4. Boxshall, c.2020

$65M Shift: Brighton Developer Embraces Affordable Living in Dandenong. Jacmax Developments, best known for luxury builds in Melbourne’s elite suburbs, is making an unexpected shift, proposing a 13-storey affordable housing tower in the heart of Dandenong.

Filed with the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning, the $65m project would deliver 86 affordable apartments at 18–24 Scott Street right next to the evolving Development Victoria-led Revitalising Central Dandenong precinct.

Cera Stribley designed scheme includes communal resident spaces, a three-level podium with 36 car bays and 34 bicycle parks. The project is being developed in partnership with Community Housing Limited (CHL), who plan to manage the homes upon completion.

Pending final funding from either Homes Victoria or the Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFFF), CHL is expected to purchase the site from Jacmax after development.

It's a major move for Jacmax, who recently completed the premium Boxshall Brighton development, but director Trent Skurrie says the opportunity to work with CHL on this site was too important to ignore.
