Story time: One year ago I watched @nicinice.dj play in this location and I was obsessed!

I didn’t really know her at all, but we had the best night ever together and became friends!!

At that time I had only just started DJing 3 months ago and had just played my first few gigs.

When I watched her play there at @jacob.munich I remember thinking to myself:

„I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY IN THIS LOCATION ONE DAY!“

and

„I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY B2B TOGETHER WITH NICI AT AFRIKA BURN IN APRIL NEXT YEAR!“

A few months later, Nici asked me if I wanted to play a set at Afrika burn together with her. And we did. We ended up even playing 2 together, one at White Rabbit Camp (link of set on YouTube in bio) and one on the Jellyfish Artcar (on Soundcloud soon).

A few weeks ago Nici was gonna play at @jacob.munich again for the Octoberfest Afterparty. We were speaking on the phone a few days before organising things for our party series @amuse.ofc that we launched a few months ago.

When she told me she was gonna fly to Munich the day of the gig, I said: „let me know in case anything doesn’t work out with your flight and I’m happy to help out.“

She called me a few hours before her gig. Her flight was delayed and asked if I could jump in until she arrived. That’s when this video was taken.

I MEAN… YOU CAN‘T MAKE THIS SHIT UP!!!

Two weeks later we played B2B together at the same location 🔥✨🫶

Thanks @afterwork.munich & @jacob.munich for such a sick AfterWiesn, but honestly didn’t expect anything less 😝
Such a pleasure to back & celebrate with you.
& definitely made the most of the @oktoberfest this year, a few too many times maybe, but had the best time 🍻😅
Now ending the season by going to Berlin & then playing at the @amsterdamdanceevent again ✨
& then finally South Africa 🫶🏻
