𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. 🚀

In May, we acquired 20 vacation rental companies on the same day. Earlier this week, we announced our deal to the world at VRMA Nashville.

Some of you knew us as Stakeholders VR, our working name while we were still assembling the rocket. Meet Pavilion: the first founder-owned national vacation rental company. 20 local brands. 5,000+ homes. About 50,000 guests a month. And the operators who built these businesses rolled over $100M of their own equity into the deal, so together with our management team, they own the majority of the company. Local care, with a national backing.

What a difference a year makes too. Last VRMA in Vegas, this was still a wild idea. This week, Comparent ranked Pavilion 5th in America, and The M&A Advisor named us a finalist for ‘Private Equity Deal of the Year’ (plus four more nominations).

None of this happens without people taking a real risk on an idea, and I could not be more grateful for those on this journey with me.

🚀 Grateful for the 20 property manager founders building alongside us and leading the way. Some of the best entrepreneurs and operators in North America.

🚀 Grateful for our investors TZP Group, BlackRock’s HPS Investment Partners, Capital Dynamics, and PGIM, who believed in a structure nobody had ever done before and came in as partners.

🚀 Grateful for our Mission Control leadership, who left successful careers elsewhere to take a giant leap of faith with us.

🚀 Grateful to Cooley and Jefferies for getting 20 deals closed in one day across 1,000+ pages of closing docs.

🚀 Grateful for my co-founders Joe Fraiman and Brandon Ezra. What a ride.

🚀 Grateful to be building this with my two sons. Jacob on our M&A team, and Jonah helping run operations at Sea Mountain Vacations.

And the best part is we’re just getting started. 🚀🚀

If you still have passion for what you’re building, want some liquidity, and want to keep building with people who love hospitality, DM me. Let’s talk.

A quick weekend to the Big Apple with my favorite peeps. We packed in a Yankees game, The Great Gatsby on Broadway, a World Cup watch party 🇺🇸, rooftop bars, shopping, jazz bars, and some of the most amazing meals. But Brady and I agreed that the best part was spending time with our boys laughing and dreaming and reminding ourselves that investing in experiences is always worth it!
