That's a wrap...

It's been crazy, with a lot of sweat, sunburn and stress to on top. I didn't quite know what was coming our way - it's been an incredibly humbling and beautiful experience all round. Thank you to my fantastic leads @pamdemoniums, @trickfrees and the rest of the cast. My producer team @paulwoodward86, @jessfilms._ & @gracelistercreative have worked miracles.

I'm forever in debt to this team for helping bring this project to life.
It's always such an interesting experience working with someone else's script, I can only hope Rob is chuffed with how we translated his work to the screen.

Forever grateful to you all. Now onto post-production x

That’s a WRAP on Time to Go.

Day 6, and our final day of filming.

It’s hard to put into words how much this project has meant to us, and how deeply grateful we are to every single person who has stepped in, stepped up, and given their time, talent, and heart to help bring this story to life.

From the cast who gave us every ounce of emotion, to the crew who worked tirelessly with care and craft, this film is a reflection of you. Every camera movement, every costume thread, every light placed, every cup of tea made, it all mattered. And it all shows.

We’re truly humbled by the quality of the work we’ve created together. You’ve helped take this short film far beyond what we thought was possible when we first set out.

Now it’s our job to honour that effort as we head into post-production, to continue pushing for the level of quality you’ve all helped us set, and to give Time to Go the journey it deserves.

We believe in this film. And thanks to you…we believe in it even more.

With all our hearts,
Thank you.
Paul, Tom, Jess, Grace & Rob

5 Years on Estrogen 🏳️‍⚧️ Time flies. Transitioning saved me, when being lockdowned in my room in 2020, being trapped not just in my room alone, but in my body, it finally snapped i couldn't keep living how i was, and that first pill gave me a future. I wouldn't have the confidence, sense of self, fulfillment, resilience and the community i have around me right now without transitioning. It's insane times to be doing it in but i'm never gonna let anyone take this freedom from me, this comfort in my body, mind and soul. Thank you everyone who's been there for me, through my (still) clueless hairstyle eras, warts and all. Dunno how i did any of this most of the time, but i'm so happy i took that leap after repressing it for so long, and to be able to help other trans people, through my film work on Trans Documentaries, marching at rallies/protests or just a comforting chat in a beer garden and sharing experiences.

The most common thing people tell me when they find out about my tranness (apart from shock that they can't believe i was born a guy, which is always a comment i never know how to receive, especially from other trans people, never beat yourselves down Dolls you are gorge!!!) and how I looked before is "You have so much more life in your eyes now", and looking back, it's hard to imagine i ever looked how i did, when i see myself now, i just see myself, how i always felt i was meant to be and happy that i am.

Hopefully some more exciting changes and experiences coming in the next year, the next 5 years and forever onwards 🏃‍♀️PROTECT THE DOLLS!!! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️
