“No cut” means no cut…

Floated across the side of a cliff. @lauren.m.schmitt dislocated her collarbone. Then I ripped off the right rear wheel and brake lines before breaking an axle at the end of the final stage.

@dqtuned, @dqfancypants, and the @minijcwteam towed us in. Lauren and I pushed it across the finish.

Huge shoutout to @argonaut.mc and the badass crew who kept us and the car going all weekend. We wouldn’t have made it through this brutal one without them.

Craziest weekend of my life, but damn, that champagne tasted good.

2nd rally, 2nd podium, 3 popped tires, 2 stages with no breaks, 1 dislocated collarbone, 1 tow-in (thanks @dqtuned) and a push through the finish line. i am just stupid enough to love this shit

Double event recap.

After a late DNF following a tight battle at the @southernohioforestrally, @rivercityrally and I bounced back this weekend with a full points sweep in Colorado.

Neither of us had been to @rallycolorado before, and after a grueling weekend of technical roads and oppressive heat we managed to have a clean run and come out on top. The crew managed to keep all 3 Lexus on the road and brought home 3 podiums for their efforts.

If you've never been, get Rally Colorado on your bucket list, what an amazing event!

Hooper sits 3rd and I sit 1st in our respective class championships. Next stop: @ojibweforestsrally with 3 rounds to go in the @ara_rally championship.

Highs high, lows low.

Rollercoaster weekend for El Diablo with @worldracingleague at @roadamerica .

Qualified well and on Saturday showed we have the fastest package in GP1. That didn't last long, several mechanicals took us out fairly early on. The @socalrustlersmotorsports crew did an epic job turning the car around in the freezing cold.

Started P1 on Sunday, got mugged by the powerful cars early on as usual. Over the next 7 hours, picked them out one by one, were catching the leader at a rate of knots with 20 to go. Until... we found the wall at Canada corner. Everyone's okay, thanks for asking. Just bruised egos and the #48 is done for.

We'll be back, still a championship to play for. It's hard to kill a Diablo 😉

Looking through my gallery from 2025 I was struck by a reality - my favorite photos from the year didn’t feature cars or the factory or rally or any “things” - my favorite pics were my people doing something. We did lots of somethings this year even if it all feels like a blur as I sit on my living room floor in Detroit.

Some things:
- we made (slow) progress on the Battlegate with Liz and @dubmr2
- California canyon carving with @garage_bio
- Minnesota state fair with Lise, @meg.meg27 @rallymasterjeff
- covered the whole ARA rally season with Simba, Jacob, Henry, Chase, @mmlogan2000 @handyjoe84
- piloted a weird electric boat with my dog Mo
- launched our longform video channel (plz subscribe) and got signed to @nightmedia
- started on the Sendpai with Nick and omar
- actually launched my car company, mutiny
- went up north, did a thing ☀️
- sold 20+ cars to free up space with @jonavarro22 and co
- didn’t kill @jonavarro22
- hired @bordeau_fab

This feels like 5% of it. Thank you everyone for tuning in - seeing your comments and views on my videos means the world to me and the team back at the factory. We’ll try and pick up the pace to continue to do you proud.

A solid day 2 finished in Minnesota. We were increasing our pace with each stage and in a good fight with @patrickgruszka for 2nd in RC2 for most of the day.

We found a few very large rocks that damaged tires, suspension and confidence, ultimately causing us to lose ~ a minute on the last 2.5 stages.

We still have a lot of rally left tho and now the rain is coming down very hard so we will see what we can make happen. Definitely going to be an interesting day!

The car is still in one piece so that means we had a successful day 1 of OTR. We just cruised through the super special and saved the car for today and tomorrow.

We got quite a bit of rain this morning so the stages are gonna be wet and slick. It’ll be the first time I’ve seen these stages soaked like this so it’ll definitely be interesting.

We are using notes from previous years and are feeling pretty confident in them. We’ll see if we can make something happen today🤙

Whew! Starting the 2025 season off with a 1st place finish in Open 2wd and 6th Overall National! @snodriftrally was by far the most challenging rally I’ve done yet, with lots of fresh snow on top of hard pack and ice. The new engine ran awesome, leading us to a new stage top speed of 114.3 on the gps! We both saw huge improvements with our notes, from our training with @ozrallypro. Aside from a few spins, and losing most of the front bumper due to having to scrub speed in a snowbank to make a corner, we ran a good clean race.
