We had an absolute blast bringing the @hertz Gold Squad to the inaugural @statesidefest in upstate New York with @rollingstone! We had all the best people and all the best boys and girls turn up to celebrate the 4th with @noahkahanmusic and an amazing lineup in an amazing part of the country.

The temps were hot, but all the vibes and dogs stayed super chill, and market research now shows that a huge crew of golden retrievers does in fact make a music festival more golden.

Here’s some of the branding and design we created to customize the event, as well as some shots of the stars of the weekend. 🦮🦮🦮🦮🇺🇸💥

The @hertz Gold Squad started in airports, meeting travelers at their most stressful moments and showing them what it means to feel golden with Hertz Gold Plus Rewards. As the squad continued popping up across the country’s busiest terminals, one thing became clear: this idea could travel. So when thousands of golden retriever owners geared up to head to Goldens in Golden, CO, it felt like the perfect opportunity for the Squad to hit the road.

Bringing the Gold Squad to Golden, Colorado wasn’t about showing up, it was about showing what feeling golden looks like at scale. From serving up fancy pup cups and golden lattes to murals, keepsakes, and endless tail wags, the squad stepped into a space defined by connection and made it unmistakably Hertz golden.

Huge thanks to the generous partners who helped make this one unforgettable: @visitgoldenco for welcoming the squad with open arms, @silvercloudtrailerevents for the airstream that became our golden HQ for the weekend, and @launchcolorado for fueling humans and pups alike at the Golden Pup Cup Café. Shoutout to our fantastic production partners @shadowlion for bringing it all to life and @willbarker.art for creating a mural worthy of the golden moment. 🐕✨

Siblings weekend in Savannah!!!! A weekend filled with fun and food and we got to see @jake.h.m’s senior project - talk about me feeling old given I babysat him + his brothers all through high school and some of college (see last pic!!) and now he’s graduating! Love weekends like these ❤️

Summer travel this year wasn’t just hectic, it was brutal. So Hertz decided to do something no one saw coming: they launched the Gold Squad, an elite team of golden retrievers deployed to one of the country’s busiest airports.

Their mission? Deliver an unexpected dose of relief when travelers needed it most, and show them what Hertz Gold Plus Rewards is all about. Armed with tactical vests, water bottles, travel chargers, stress tennis balls, and endless tail wags, the Gold Squad showed firsthand what “feeling golden” is all about and helped sign up new Hertz Gold members on the spot.

Massive heartfelt appreciation to our tireless squad that helped clandestinely bring the Hertz Gold Squad to real life: experiential masterminds @bladethornton and @gabbellabrat from @squeakecleanstudios for keeping the entire pack in line, our amazing and thoughtful director @keithmalloy_bimarianfilms, hero EP @bretthew, brilliant DPs @tatelarrick, @schoalforshort and to everyone at @bimarianfilms for so beautifully capturing the chaos and the calm in real time, our masterful editors @cnak27 and @zoe_lawrence_ and the rest of the crew at @cartel.tv for working around the clock to release content as it happened, colorist @hey_bt and the team at @tbdpost for making every frame feel golden. Our super talented ferried @_tamarasmallets_ made all the tactical gear so legit. We simply couldn’t have asked for better partners to “unleash the goldens!” and help spread the good travel vibes.

Best weekend in the Land with the fam!!!! The only place in my childhood that felt like “home” out of alllllll the states we lived in. 🫶🏽🥹 Great weekend with great people and the best way to cap off a month and a half STRAIGHT of traveling on the weekends 😅🤪
