La Fête D’Adieu🥂

I’m writing this live after the whirlwind it was to bring this beautiful moment together. I am blessed beyond measure.

In everything I do, I’ve always said my support system is what makes any of this possible. And it was so important to me to take a moment and cherish that with the people who have been integral to my growth in LA and life.

They all know what I’ve said in my teary-eyed speech, so I’ll keep this caption shorter than the last. But as I step into this next phase, I am grateful for how faithful God has been in the area of community. From besties, to USC, to coworkers, to mentors, to family- what a moment it was to behold.

The cost of community may be inconvenience. But the reward is a bounty unmeasured. Merci beaucoup, mon cheries. 💋

Behind the Scenes - the LA Exit

June 15, 2026.

Today I pack up my apartment in LA- just two weeks shy of 7 years here. And almost 11 since I moved for USC. In the same breath I catch a flight to New York, part of my domestic farewell tour shall we call it?

It’s a wonder how so much of life lived can be packed up in boxes, or purged for the next step. My mom noted- I’ve spent a quarter of my life here. A QUARTER?! Geeze, when you put it like that, I gotta start counting the greys. And as I soon sit on this plane to head to what I know will be an exhilarating time, I can’t help but think how this really is the next launching pad. And what lies ahead looks nowhere near as sturdy as 7 years with a consistent roof over my head, that between just two apartments, was all my own.

These past few months have been a hurricane season. SO MUCH change in a span of weeks- leaving my job, starting my business, packing up my life (never want to do this again btw, I am TIYAD), but wow- it’s so worth it.

And a thank you to every person that lifted a finger, made time to help, or checked in to make sure I hadn’t lost my marbles yet. There’s no amount of thank yous that cover my gratitude.

I guess that’s a wrap 📦
