Are these trips for having fun, meeting new people, and seeing old friends? Or to avoid the inevitable masters work that looms on my computer when I return… either way it’s been fun traveling around the country and finding things to do in Colorado to help fill every day this summer with some kind of adventure.

Home sweet home🏠

Huge 5K PR! 16:44-16:08 (36 seconds)
3 Mile PR! 16:04-15:33 (31 Seconds)

What an amazing way to end the season! Got to come back home from 6,000 feet elevation and drop an enormous improvement in the 5K shattering both my raw time and converted time!! What made it even more special was I had a slew of family and friends and coaches from both my High School and UCCS there to get me through this breakthrough race. Couldn’t be more honored to have done that with them in house!

This closes what has been a very memorable freshman year with this amazing UCCS team! By far my toughest season in my career being injured twice and not racing all year until the outdoor track season, but I am still so happy and grateful to be apart of a team that cares so much for each other, works hard, and has the best mindset of any team in the NCAA. Truly grateful that I got to be apart of this team and the opportunities that are now paved for the future. So excited for what I can do with this amazing team with amazing coaches and spectacular teammates!!🤙
