Do you trust your training? Or are you only thinking about outcome?

Waiting for a call? Waiting for an offer?

Coach Carney invited these free agents to opt in to something hard, on purpose. The guys set their alarms and showed up for a 4:30am workout with energy drinks and smiles.

Every hard thing you choose makes you 1% better than the specialist chasing the same spot. Another brick to build your career. One more way that you’ll move up ready lists and prospect lists.

Did you choose hard today?

Proud of these men.

They’re patient through the uncertainty of free agency. They show up for early morning kicking sessions. They build stronger machines in the gym. They seek the feedback they need to perform with confidence when evaluators are watching.

This is grit.

Dear Kicker and Punter, you are more confident today because you received the feedback you didn’t know you need…and trusted it.

@3pointkicking × @carneykicking — ACCELERATOR WEEKEND- Powered by @trackmanfb 🏈📈

20 free-agent specialists. One goal: be ready when the opportunity comes.

This weekend, 3Point Kicking and Carney Training Facility brought together 20 free agents for our Accelerator Weekend — an opportunity to evaluate exactly where each athlete stands and prepare them for upcoming NFL workouts, combines, and professional opportunities.

Using TrackMan Football, athletes were able to put objective numbers behind their performance, identify areas that can immediately improve, and experience the type of pressure and evaluation that comes when kicking in front of professional teams.

At this level, opportunities can come quickly. When the phone rings, there isn’t time to get ready — you have to already be ready.

The weekend was about more than just making kicks. It was about creating a professional environment where athletes could compete, get measurable feedback, make adjustments, and leave better prepared for their next opportunity.

A huge thank you to all 20 athletes who came out and competed, and to Carney Training Facility for continuing to help us create opportunities for specialists pursuing the next level.

Measure it. Improve it. Be ready when your number is called.

If your sport requires explosive hip flexion, you need to train your hip flexors like it.

Kicking, sprinting and accelerating place high demands on the hip flexors—and simply stretching them isn’t preparing them for those demands.

A well-designed injury prevention program should build the qualities the hip flexors actually need in sport:

STRENGTH → Develop load capacity and tolerance through range.

NEUROMUSCULAR CONTROL → Own hip flexion positions and maintain pelvic/trunk control while producing force.

SPEED → Progress toward rapid, high-velocity contractions that better reflect the demands of sprinting and kicking.

The goal isn’t just stronger hip flexors—it’s developing tissue that can produce force, control movement and tolerate high-speed loading.

Exercises shown:
• Supine banded hip flexion
• SL stance banded hip flexion
• High plank hip flexor isometric
• Standing 90° hip flexion isometric
• Wall-supported banded hip flexion
• Hip flexor sit-ups

Train the demands of your sport—not just the muscles involved.

Top Kickers Performances at Coach Zauner’s 17th Annual College Senior Combine February 14-15, 2026 here in Fountain Hills, AZ. Randy Bond (Texas A&M) was the Winner at 60 Yards. He missed at 62 yards.

All (21) kickers were guaranteed (8) Field Goals. My philosophy is in today’s NFL world you can’t miss under 45 yards. The field goal competition consisted of (8) field goals under 50 yards. There were 15 kickers with Zero misses or (1) miss. Those kickers proceeded to the Bonus Round. The distance for the Bonus Field Goals was (51, 54, 57, 60 & 63).

The (4) Semi-Finalists Kickers that made it to 60 Yards were: Carter Davis (Miami), Jacob Willig (N. Colorado), Wilson Yee (Chadron State) and Randy Bond (Texas A&M). Congrats to Randy Bond!

Top (3) Specialists Kicking Off Deep: Sloan Calder (Weber State), John Cannon (W. Kentucky) and Carter Davis (Miami).

Every Specialist receives a copy of their stats along with a video copy of the kicking and kickoff performances.

Coach Zauner’s College Senior Combine gives College Senior Specialists the Exposure to NFL Teams that they WANT, NEED & DESERVE!
