If you asked me a year ago what this verse would mean to me, I’d probably tell you about failing to PR in running and continuing to try over and over again because the Lord will make it right. This year, I’d tell that kid last year that this verse means so much more than that. It means to put all of your trust in the Lord and be grateful for the sufferings you will go through. Remain steadfast in His name and give the glory to Him alone always. No matter how well you’re succeeding or how much you’re falling, the Lord will always be there no matter what. Rejoice in His name when you are struggling, for the joy He will bring to the world is far greater than anything you ever could want.

I’m so thankful to the Lord for another amazing year at Upstate, and even more grateful for the people He’s surrounded me with. I love every single one of the people who supports me or wishes against me. Time for one final lap.

If I had the chance to do it again, I wouldn't hesitate one bit. From the people that I got to meet to the ones that are basically family, I will always be grateful.

First off, I want to thank the Lord for letting me use running as a platform to glorify Him. He's helped me grow in so many ways I never thought of. While the journey had its many ups and downs over the years, He has given me plenty of opportunities to glorify Him and be thankful.

I want to thank my family and friends for always supporting me over the years and encouraging me to keep going when times got tough. Y'all have always shown me the good that can come out of situations.

Lastly, I want to thank the coaches who've helped me get here today. Coach Patrick, Coach King, and Coach Jackson, thank yall for coaching me up from middle to high school over the years. Coach Rennix, thank you for taking a chance and giving me the opportunity to have a collegiate running career. Who knows where I would have went if you hadn't reached out. Coach Roger and Coach Grace, thank yall both for continuing to believe in me over the last year. While it was a short time with yall, it has meant so much to me.

I dont like the saying goodbye. So... until next time.

Unfortunately ending my season short to the flu, but GOD IS STILL GOOD. I am so grateful that I was able to race well all of indoor because some people aren’t as fortunate as me, and I am grateful to even be able to race the 3 times I did. Plus, I PR’d in every single event by a lot and I couldn’t be more thankful to have a healthy enough season to do that. For now, I will be getting back to 100% and taking my Tamiflu. 10K season next 👀

still not over yesterday! 🥹💜

I am so proud of everyone that showed up and left it all on the course yesterday. The women’s team took 2nd place and I couldn’t be happier. These girls and our coaches always push me to be my best and I got to leave conference with a huge pr! I love these girls and this team so much. I am so grateful.
