Travel, encounters, emotion translated onto canvas.

@jacquelinebozon draws inspiration from the cultures and people she meets around the world.

Her work is not a single moment, but a layering of experiences expressed through traces, lines, and textures that form a world of their own. Lifelines crossing. Emotions beneath the surface. Each layer pulls you deeper into the story.

Through a meticulous build-up of paint and resin, her work gains a striking sense of depth almost spatial. Mysterious, intense, and constantly in motion.

“The art is to see without thinking, and not to think that you see.”

Be Around
Jacqueline Bozon, 2024, Paint and resin on bamboo
Two sets of three pieces (30 cm, 40 cm & 50 cm)

Inspired by her experiences, encounters, and observations, Jacqueline Bozon's view on life is reflected in her art.

Color is her language; innumerable layers of paint, applied with her fingers to feel the relief of the lines which are accurately delineated by meters of tape, and whose vibrant colors are enhanced by a carefully applied layer of resin.

These two sets have been picked up from her studio today 🌈
