My firm, Jaimie Baird Interiors, is a small boutique studio based in downtown Manhattan. I take on only a handful of clients at a time, allowing us to give each project the attention it deserves.

We specialize in creating spaces with elevated materials, rich textures, and exceptional craftsmanship that evoke a sense of ease, quiet strength, and timelessness.

Everyone on our team comes from a creative background. Mine is photography, while my team brings experience ranging from running art galleries to formal training in design and art school. We all have a creative eye, and everyone contributes in meaningful ways. More than anything, we’re a hardworking team of women, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work we do together.

I don’t have a degree in interior design, but creating has always been in my blood, and I believe my work speaks for itself.

So…you found us!! - Thank you for following along. We’re excited to work on our first hospitality project at JBI and are accepting new clients for Fall 2027!

2020 me was so mad that some stranger would call my sacred productivity process a sign of autism! I was indignant.

2026 me admits on a daily basis that I am more autistic than my autistic child. I stim constantly but in vaguely socially acceptable ways. I am an AuDHD expert now as it’s one of my special interests. And I still have one gazillion notebooks and never know that I’m hungry or thirsty nor what I want to eat. I also crash out if I have to stay in a public restroom a second longer than necessary.

Also? I’m writing a couple of books, manage my daughter’s health needs 24/7 bc she’s always home,
Have a balcony garden, am actually painting a bit, and I’m working on my music. So ritual and reward works whether you’re autistic or not.

We can do the things we love to do and the things we have been avoiding!

I’m in the process of developing a new collection and I find myself wrapped up in the idea of the year of the horse. A new beginning, born out of fire and a lust her forward movement. I can’t separate the horse from the cowgirl. Two inextricably, tied creatures, wild, free, and yet strong and disciplined. I grew up, raising horses, seeing their gentleness and their untamed velocity. That is what I’m hoping this collection will feel like. I hope it will soften our hearts and set us a flame for the hard work of living these days.

Our friend @jacquelyntierney shot these self portraits and to me embodies that idea. She will be taking portrait sessions in New York in early April so you should message her if you’d like to be seen through this powerful lens.

The year of the horse feels personal. Not only does a fire horse strike up all my Leo energy, but I was raised with horses. On my small ranch in Montana we bred Arabians and rode backcountry. I helped my father as he broke the new colts and tended the mares. For me the horse and the cowgirl are synonymous. One vibrant beast, bold, decorated and proud.

As we enter the year of the horse, I wanted to mark this occasion by sharing with you the words and vision of another horsewoman. My friend, the artist, stylist and astrologer @jacquelyntierney . In our newsletter today read her thoughts and absorb her images on the wild resistance and collective transformation of horses. Her work moves me to my core, I hope it moves you. x Ariana
