Summer recap: under booked, minding my business, going analog

One of my favourite parts of the Winnipeg Folk Festival is seeing everyone’s creativity come to life through their outfits. From vintage finds to bold colours and everything in between, you all bring so much personality to the festival. Keep expressing yourselves—you make this place even more magical.

Last month, Jacques Richer of Screaming At Traffic jumped onto our lineup at the last minute, and treated us to a rare acoustic set. Here's "Unprecedented Historical Events", from the band's new EP, Songs To Steal Copper Wire To. The full performance of the song is up on our YouTube channel. Link in the bio!

Our next show is happening this Saturday, June 20th! Don't miss Annie Wilde, Jake Morgan, and Emet. DM us for the address.

Big thank you to everyone who kept Pouzza weekend going for one more night and made it to our unofficial apartment show afterparty 🙌
Was lovely hosting a few acoustic punk acts from around the country and beyond. Our next show will be announced soon, keep an eye out!

She got pouzz'd again🤘🏻

Another year at @pouzzafest and another ripper for the books.

Safe to say making my debut back after the fall was one hell of a jump from doing absolutely nothing to doing absolutely everything, all on one leg and in a wheelchair. I honestly can't believe I pulled it off.

Shout out to all the friends who took care of me, pushed me around, spent time with me, carried things for me, and made the weekend so fucking fun despite the circumstances.

Already looking forward to next year 🖤

House shows aren’t very common back home, so I always love getting the chance to play one.

Last night was easily one of my favourites, such a great way to spend a Monday night, especially after a hectic weekend at Pouzza Fest.

Thank you @citysessions.mtl, @jesselebourdais, @jacques.mr and everyone who made it so special.

Au revoir Montréal - I’ll be back in Québec on June 3rd for more shows.

Up next: Toronto.
Tomorrow, May 20th, I’m playing the legendary @horseshoetavern with @inyourwallsband, @officialwhygo and @matlockes.

Toronto friends: I’d love to see you there. This is my only show in the city on this tour, so come hang out if you’re in the 6ix!

Long-running emo punks @screamingattrafficmusic are about to drop a new EP with the excellent title ‘Songs to Steal Copper Wire To’.

I sat down with (co-) frontman @jacques.mr to talk about the record, the band not taking itself too seriously, regrouping after some time off, and a whole lot more.

Stay tuned!

Another swap bites the dust 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

We are filled with so many emotions today, but mostly we are still in shock and awe at how many of y’all came through on your Sunday afternoon to swap your cloths and hang out.

This was our biggest swap yet and none of it would be possible without our incredible community 🥹

A huge shoutout goes out to our team of volunteers (and boyfriends/husbands/fiancés/partners) who donated their labour to make today a success. It really does take an entire community to make this happen, and we cannot thank you all enough.

And don’t forget to thank @thehandsomedaughter for having us in on a Sunday!!! We absolutely adore the team over there and truly would not be able to do this without them. Pls stop by for a drink and a hoagie next time you’re in the area and tell them we sent you hehe

On behalf of Christina (Dirty T herself), Jillian, and Sam (hehe me) we want to say THANK YOU again and see you in the Fall at our next swap!!!!

In the meantime, tag us in your swap outfits cause ur local marketing girly needs content until November (and we NEED to see the cute fits) 😭🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️
