Four years ago today on the 4th of July two incredible young, black architect and interior architect launched an initiative that was just a discussion years prior.

NGA started necessary conversation to the world of interior design and architecture, between two young women who wanted to see a positive impact and change. Today we celebrate the fact that our conversation never got swept under the rug. We celebrate the intentionality of honouring your path and obedience.

We celebrate the lives that this organisation has been able to touch and we celebrate all that is yet to come, how grateful we are to have made that this far. As we reflect on these images, it becomes easy to see God in all facets. It becomes apparent to see where he showed up and how he showed up and it’s wonderful to see how our gifts have to continued to make room for us.

We celebrate the launch of NGA and we celebrate the bright future of NGA for ourselves and for generations to come 🤍

MOVING TO JAMAICA 2026🇯🇲.. And this time for good!

These past years you’ve all known me to be back and forth between London🇬🇧 and Jamaica🇯🇲 and last year God gave me the word that next year I’ll be moving. As excited as I was and have been, it has been an emotional whirlwind, from life changes, to the numerous intense “GO’s” from God which led me to bring forward my leaving date which gave me a 2 week turn around period to see my loved ones, move out my house and take the leap of faith.
Sometimes we expect life to look a certain way before we move in obedience to God, not realising obedience is never really comfortable nor is it ever waiting for you to be comfortable.

I am so grateful for my Village❤️

But follow me on my journey as we embark on this new season together🫶🏾
Love you all and see you in the next vid❤️🇯🇲

Our hearts have and will always be with Jamaica❤️ it’s been hard processing and witnessing the outcome of Hurricane Melissa which has fuelled us even more to do what we can. Recently @nextgenerationarchitecture was awarded the @jnbank @jncircle @thevoicenewspaper community fund award, where our intention was to host an event with also the hopes with investing in the opportunity for members of the diaspora within the built environment profession to gain the chance to travel to Jamaica and view and connect with the opportunities and prospects it has for built environment professionals within the diaspora, whilst this is still our intention, given recent events with Hurricane Melissa, we will be donating half of our award to helping buy material for rebuilding homes/structures in Jamaica the remaining amount will go towards our initial intent to host an event that will inspire, teach on the conversation of sustainability on the island where architecture is concerned and help direct the diaspora of the built environment on how they can bring their skills set back to Jamaica to invest in the island for the future.
The future of Jamaica is in the hands of its people not just on the island of within the government but of everyone worldwide ❤️🇯🇲

Thank you @jncircle_uk for trusting us with our vision, we know even more now it and us as a community is needed together more than ever now .🙏🏾

From start to finish - I really enjoyed making this design showcasing how God puts his stamp of approval on us as his children

Psalm 139:14 God made no mistakes about us he was extremely intentional down to every single detail he thought about it to make you just as perfect as you are

Take no part of your make up for granted, you are wonderful as you are, a masterpiece a wonderful treasure 🤍🙌🏾

Jackie made such a beautiful bride 😍
For a few years now, Jackie would send me a DM every now and again to say ‘Steph when I get married you’re doing my makeup!’ And God made sure it came to pass. How stunning does she look?
