So thankful for her experience up at the CLI Conservatory. The full extent of what they teach, inspire, and create for these dancers is above & beyond.
I did NOT take this photo. CLI’s photographer - who is with these dancers all year in class & for their media days - did, and I am so thankful. Look at this amazing bad a$$ daughter of mine!!!

My time at CLI…

I honestly don’t know what else to say. This place changed me in every aspect of my life. Joining Year 5 of CLI was the best decision I’ve ever made.

I learned what it truly means to love and be loved in so many different ways. I learned that growth isn’t linear, and that the difficult moments are just as important as the victories. I gained so much knowledge about this industry, but even more importantly, I learned so much about myself. I’ll always be grateful for this experience.

To @teddyforance : Thank you for seeing something in me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of this program. It has genuinely changed my life, and I can’t thank you enough for believing in me.

To @nichols14 Thank you for understanding the way I move. From the very first class, I knew you were a choreographer with a vision, and you proved that over and over again. Your perspective on performance, storytelling, and this industry is something every dancer should experience. You’re truly a legend.

To @riileywaatts : My teacher, mentor, and improv partner. I’m incredibly grateful to have trained and danced alongside you. Every time we dance together, it feels like we’re speaking the same language—something I’ve never experienced before. Thank you for bringing so much intention, care, and thoughtfulness into every class and every student you teach. The dance world needs more artists, teachers, and people like you.

To the boys: Thank you for being some of the most talented, genuine, and hilarious people I’ve ever met. Every rehearsal, every conversation, and every laugh meant more than you know. I’m so grateful I got to share this experience with all of you.

i’m so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people.

thank you @cliconservatory for giving us the space to learn and grow together. every single faculty member is so important and impacted me greatly in my time here. the friends i’ve made here are lifelong and i’m so grateful this program brought us all together. this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and i’m so happy I took a chance on it. I have no words to describe how I’m feeling… other than Grateful. I am grateful for the people I have been surrounded by and pushed by the past 10 months. I am grateful for the teachers and mentors who have gifted us with their wisdom. I am grateful to feel so deeply about this many people and to miss them so much. I am grateful for the lifelong connections I’ve made. I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve received and for the places this program has led me to and will continue to lead me to. I am grateful for Teddy and every staff member for never letting me settle and for never letting me believe I wasn’t enough in any way. I could write 10 essays on how much CLI meant to me and I would still have things to say about how life-changing this experience was.

I can’t tag everyone in this post but I love everyone in each of these photos so very much. And if we didn’t get a photo together, know that I still love you too <3 I am so appreciative for the friendships I’ve made and the relationships that we will continue to build with each other. This isn’t the end, it’s just the beginning.

Wow, what a year! I finally got to live out my dance dreams and attend a dance conservatory. Little Lauren would be screaming rn + would have never imagined dance could take me this far.

This year brought so many challenges, and there were countless moments when I wanted to give up. But the Lord carried me through every step. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to grow in my passion and to be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually. Thank u Jesus!!

A huge thank you to all of the CLI staff for investing in me throughout this year, and to @teddyforance for creating this incredible program and giving me the opportunity to be a part of it. I’m beyond grateful. Here’s to everything this season has taught me and to whatever comes next.

Cy5….i think I can say if we all sat in one big circle I could go around knowing every single one of y’all’s name, and tell you something incredible I’ve seen you do this year. I remeber that first day meeting everyone and experience our first Teddy class together, we were all pulled through the wringer together, but the point was that we did it together, and that’s when I knew that no matter how tough the week was I’d have others to go through it with. The community we created it something I will never take for granted, there is truly nothing else that will compare to what we had. Everyone supported everyone no matter what the circumstances, it was never quiet on the sides of the rooms. There were always people cheering for others. I made so many amazing friends and made so many memories at CLI that I will hold so dearly in my heart. I wouldn’t be the human I am today without everyone’s love and friendship throughout the year. Every single one of you are so insanely talented and I can’t wait to watch y’all do amazing things!

To all the resident falculty, @nichols14 , Rilly Watts, @stephshumway , @jennip1021 , @caseygonzo , and @kia_thekey . I would not be the dancer i am today without every single one of you guys. I fear i would still be stiff as a board without @kia_thekey hiphop fundamentals class. Every teacher believed in me and supported me in this journey and i wouldn’t have been able to do it without them! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything🤍

Last but not least, I’d like to give one last thank you to Teddy, for creating this program, you have created something so special and you’re changing the future of dance. So many dancers are going to go out into the dance world a better dancer, including me, because of your support. I’m forever grateful you and Cy5.

Oh man.
These past 10 months at CLI have been by far the most transformative season of my life. I came here hoping to grow, and I’m leaving with so much more than I ever imagined. Lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, renewed confidence, and a deeper love for dance.
Thank you @teddyforance for creating such a beautiful space where dancers can be challenged, inspired, supported, and truly become the best versions of themselves. Your vision has changed so many lives, and I feel incredibly grateful that I got to be a part of it.
To every teacher, mentor, and every single person I shared this experience with, thank you. I’ll miss seeing your faces every day more than I can put into words. You all made this place feel like home, and I’ll forever cherish every class, every laugh, every rehearsal, and every little moment in between.
If I had the chance to do these last 10 months all over again, I’d say yes in a heartbeat.
I love you all CY5 family. Here’s to taking everything CLI has given me and carrying it into whatever comes next. Cue the tears🫂🤎

not much to say compared to how i’m feeling. feeling extremely lucky & grateful to have a new home that means so much to me. feeling so much love towards those i met and grew close with this year. feeling so happy to see what my people are going to do, & sad not knowing the next time ill see them. feeling a lot of gratitude for the new mentors i gained & for all the amazing advice and lessons ive been given. @teddyforance , thank you for having such a big dream & encouraging everyone of us to chase after our wildest dreams. thank you for creating such a beautiful space that allowed me to grow alongside so many beautiful people 🤍@cliconservatory CY5 i love you 🫂🫂🫂
