I am beyond blessed and excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career playing D1 Softball at Utah State University!!

This process wasn’t easy but I am so thankful for every step that led me to this moment. It has been a journey filled with hard work, dedication, and putting my faith into God and trusting his plan even when it wasn’t clear. I thank him for placing this dream in my heart when I was just 5 years old and for blessing me with the talent, opportunities, and support system to make this become a reality. All glory goes to God.

To my amazing parents, thank you for every sacrifice you made to help little Italia chase her dream of playing college softball at a D1 program. From driving me to California every weekend for practices and games, to those late Sunday night drives followed by early work mornings, you never complained, and I never took it for granted. Your love, guidance, and support have shaped me into the person and athlete I am today. Thank you guys for pushing me to be my best and giving me the best opportunities to be successful. I love you both more than words can say.

To my teammates both past and present, I thank you guys for pushing me to be the best I can be, for all the laughs and memories made both on and off the field, those are moments I will cherish forever and I couldn’t do it without your support and through all wins and losses, making every game unforgettable.

To the Athletics Mercado Academy, and especially Coach Potter, Coach Rick, and Coach Adolfo—thank you for believing in me and investing your time and energy into my growth. From the tough practices to the nickname of “Carp” (not remembering sometimes that it is my nickname) you guys have put me on the best fields in front of the best competition and I couldn’t thank you guys enough for that.

Finally, a huge thank you to the Utah State coaching staff—Coach Todd, Coach Jared, Coach Shelby, and Coach Jada for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to live out this dream. I can’t wait for what’s ahead. GO AGGIES!!💙🤠
