“If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far, go together.” - African Proverb

20 slides is not sufficient to show the profound love I have for you all. A love so deep, that words fail to capture its depth. To my village, to my family and friends, to Gallo House (the best house🤧), to my host family from Oaxaca, my professors, my academic advisor, the UChicago Study Abroad Office, the UChicago food service staff, my fraternity brothers, my D9 family- I am the sum of the love, time, and loyalty you all have given me.

What is life without community? My community has poured so much into me, I would not have made it this far had it not been for them. I am indebted to all of you, those pictured and not, for all you have done. I am grateful to have had the mere privilege of sharing space with a people so caring, hardworking, and uplifting. Surely I would have sank, had you all not kept me afloat these past four years.

As I conclude this series of posts, I think back to every laugh shared, every hug given, every tear cried. It was all worth it. I would not have done it any other way, with anybody else ❤️.
