This week I read book 1 of the Faerie Queene by Edmund Spenser🛡️✨🧌🐉
I have to say that I have a thing for tales about knights struggling to adhere to the codes of chivalry. Redcrosse kind of reminded me of Sir Gawain from Sir Gawain and the Green Knight as he gets himself into so much trouble by allowing himself to be misled numerous times by deceitful characters.
Una is also a really interesting character as her constancy proves more powerful than the strength of her knight. She is kind of the hero in this tale in many ways. I can’t wait to study this text in more depth!
•••
I have also started filling out my new academic planner which I am obsessed with! I added some stickers earlier this week🥰.
Hope you had a good week:)

✨✨BOOK REVIEW✨✨
.
.
Title: The Ex Vows 🍷
Author: Jessica Joyce
📖 or 🎧: Kindle book 📖
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟✨

Review: There was so much about this book that I loved! I really love Jessica Joyce’s writing. It was poetic, and the way she worded things just took my breath away. I loved the vineyard setting here. I also love a second chance romance! I just think this book could have been like 50 pages shorter because the FMC literally refused to talk to the MMC about her feelings. I get it goes back to trauma but still! Speaking of trauma- I do feel like we could have gotten more into their past trauma actually. Lol

❔: do you like wine? Red, white, or none?! 🍷

✨✨BOOK REVIEW✨✨
.
.
Title: The Playboy Playbook
Author: Lexi Monroe
📖 or 🎧: Kindle ARC
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Review: This was cute! I loved the tropes in this one- small town, childhood besties, and SLOW BURN! This was so easy to get through because it was just adorable!

I loved Matt so much! You can tell that man was written by a woman!!! I love a good golden retriever man! I also loved how strong of a FMC Laila was! And their meet cute was just PRECIOUS!!!! I won’t spoil anything but it was so cute! I also just am a sucker for childhood friends to lovers! You could really feel them falling back in love from childhood!!! Such a cute read!

❓: Who was your longest celebrity crush? (Or current one?!)

✨✨BOOK REVIEW✨✨
.
.
Title: The Next Mrs. Parrish
Author: Liv Constantine
📖 or 🎧: Audiobook🎧
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨(4.75)

Review: This was SOOOO close to a 5🌟! I was a little hesitant going into this sequel because I thought the first one wrapped up so well. BUT this blew me out of the water. The last 30% my mouth was open in shock. It was truly SO good. There were so many twists and turns and I loved where the story went. I didn’t know who to turn to and the new characters added so much. PERFECT ending!

❓: What is your favorite piece of jewelry?!

how my book besties see me💓

i’m a little late to the trend but my girls nailed it!!!
I’m honestly a little shocked by how similar the vibes are and how accurately I’m preceived😌

me in a nutshell:
- purple
- Lewis Hamilton/F1
- Harry/1D
- Dental school

the fact that nearly everyone put terms & conditions is sending me😂 it’s about time I give Iris and Declan the post they deserve💚

And going to some of her fave bookstores like @nextchapterbooksellers !

So grateful to have Maddie in my life!!!! 🤍🤍🤍
