A few months ago God put into my spirit to start hosting monthly Bible Studies with friends. So thankful to have friends who were supportive and receptive to this plan. Excited to experience this journey with them as we all learn about Christ and grow closer to him 🙏🏾💕☺️✝️

NURSE JADA DUMP: NICU EDITION🩺👩🏽‍🍼
after 3 and a half longggg months that seem to have flown by at the same time, ya girl is off orientation. this journey has definitely tested me all the way around and it’s not even close to being over. it actually just started. i am just proud of myself for taking a leap of faith on something i would not have dare tried 3 years ago. this process has truly taught me to be resilient and to keep going even when the going gets tough. i appreciate every nurse and preceptor whether good or bad that got me through my orientation process. it was truly all a learning experience. between just every day life and working it was difficult for me to keep up with being consistent with nursing content. BUTTTT now let’s cheers to me taking care of our most precious patients all on my own (after i have asked my podmate a million questions and for help a million times😂) 🥳🥂 & pls stay tuned for more content!🩺💘

it’s true. when i graduated and moved to
houston i didnt get the ICU position i applied
for and i accepted whatever job they gave
me. even though it’s not something i would
suggest to a new grad, im happy that i did it.
my first job really helped shape and mold me
into the nurse i am today. now im truly in love
with what i do! working with the babies in the
NICU! I’ve wanted to be a nurse since i was 15
years old. so giving up just be i didnt get my
way was never an option. i adapted to
whatever i needed to and always applied
myself. now im reaping the benefits of my
hard work. to those new nurses and nursing
students KEEP GOING 👏🏽🥳

today was my first day as a NICU nurse! however, i didnt get to hold any babies💔 it was my orientation day so today was focused on learning about the missions and values of the hospital system i will be working for. it was very informative and educational which makes me happy about the decision to stick with working with this company. breakfast and lunch was provided and i won a raffle! for what exactly not sure, i just know i won!🤣 ready to take on day 2!
