Pipe fish 🪈

Meet the little tiny dragon

It may look calm… but they are tiny stealth hunters. 🌊
شكلها هادي جدًا…لكنها في الحقيقة صياد محترف تحت الماء �

They feed on small crustaceans, fish eggs, tiny fish, and zooplankton.
بتتغذى على القشريات الصغيرة، بيض السمك، الأسماك الصغيرة، والعوالق البحرية المجهرية.

Using their thin shape, colors, vertical swimming, and subtle shimmying, they blend perfectly into their surroundings before sneaking up on prey.
وباستخدام شكل جسمها الرفيع، وألوانها، وطريقة سباحتها الرأسية مع حركاتها الخفيفة، تقدر تندمج تمامًا مع البيئة حواليها قبل ما تنقض على فريستها

And the coolest part? They don’t chew.They don’t bite.
They slurp

Dubai shore always full of surprises ✨✨
Despite the name, a Seahorse isn’t related to horses at all… it’s actually a fish named after the shape of its head. 🌊🐴

But when it comes to swimming speed… unfortunately, seahorses are among the slowest swimmers in the ocean.

رغم اسمها… حصان البحر ملوش أي علاقة بالأحصنة فعلًا 🌊🐴
هو مجرد سمكة اتسمّت كده بسبب شكل رأسها اللي يشبه الحصان.

لكن لما ييجي الموضوع للسرعة… للأسف حصان البحر يُعتبر من أبطأ السباحين في المحيط.

الاسم الدارج لها هو سمكة المهرج بسبب حركتها المفرطه التي تشبه حركة المهرج

It's called by clown fish because of their bouncing movements like a clown

نيمو بيعيش وسط شقائق النعمان و لكن سبحان الله جسمه محصن بماده مخاطيه لحمايته و التاقلم معه

Nemo lives among sea anemones, but Praise God, it's body is protected by a mucus coating that helps shield it and adapt to living with them.

يولد نيمو باعضاء تناسليه ذكوريه و انثويه "خنثى" ولكن الاكبر في الحجم في المجموعه يقوم بدور الانثى و بعد موت الانثي ياخد اكبر ذكر في المجوعه دور الانثي
Nemo is born with both male and female reproductive organs (hermaphroditic), but the largest fish in the group becomes the female. When the female dies, the largest male in the group changes role and becomes the new female.

الأب هو اللي يحرس البيض، وينضفه باستمرار، ويهوّي عليه بزعانفه عشان يوصله الأكسجين لحد ما يفقس.
The father guards the eggs, cleans them, and constantly fans them with his fins to provide oxygen until they hatch.

سمكة المهرج ممكن تعيش تقريبًا طول حياتها داخل نفس شقائق النعمان بدون ما تسيبها
A clownfish may spend almost its entire life living inside the very same sea anemone.

The giant frog fish 🐸

واحد من أغرب المفترسات في البحر. 🐸🐟
One of the strangest predators in the ocean.

خبير تمويه يقدر يغيّر لونه وملمس جلده عشان يختفي قدام عينك.
A master of camouflage that can change its color and skin texture to disappear in plain sight.

مش بيعوم زي باقي السمك… بيمشي على زعانفه.
It doesn’t swim like most fish… it walks on its fins.

وعنده “صنارة” صغيرة يحرّكها عشان يقرّب الفريسة.
And it has a tiny “fishing rod” that it moves to lure prey closer.

ساكن… هادي… بس معمول للخداع.
Still… calm… but built for deception.

كنت هتقدر تشوفه تحت المياه؟ 👀

At 30 Meter depth, almost all colors disappear and everything turns deep blue.
