In all the years Ive been going to Bali with @jadeamar, I never really got to do Nyepi (Day of Silence). This is my second Nyepi in Bali and this is the first time seeing an Ogoh Ogoh Parade in the back streets of Ubud. Not on purpose, we got stuck behind one 😅

But Im glad we did, forgot how much fun and energy these things give off. The small street ones also looked waaay more fun than the big parades in the ubud centre. Managed to get some cool vids last night. It’s so nice to see the respect for culture and tradition being carried on after so long. 👌🏽

FALAFELS- When the size and shape matter 😝

Not sure if you have noticed but we made a change to the shape of our falafels. They are currently round to allow more of the chickpeas and herbs flavour to come thru. Previously they were flattened and looked like cute little pucks.
