It’s my birthday y’all!!! Today, I’m proud of myself. ❤️

Life doesn’t look exactly the way baby Ayla thought it would. But I think that’s only because she didn’t know enough about life yet to dream up all the details. She couldn’t have imagined just how full, beautiful, unexpected, and greater it could be.

There are things I once dreamed of that look completely different now. Things I never knew to ask for. Things I didn’t even know were possible. And through all of it, I’ve become a woman I’m genuinely proud of.

I think baby Ayla would look at me and smile. She’d be proud of the life I’ve built, the people I love (& my people truly love me back), the things I’ve accomplished, and the chances I’ve taken!!

There’s still so much I want to do, see, create, and become. But today, on my birthday, I’m giving myself permission to look at the life behind me and the woman standing here now and just be happy!!! 🥰🥰🥰

For so long, these moments lived only in my prayers.

Now here I am at 39 weeks, standing in awe of God’s faithfulness and soaking in every kick, every stretch, and every moment before we finally meet Baby Rhys.

These photos aren’t just maternity pictures to me—they’re a reminder that God’s timing is always perfect. This season has stretched me, strengthened me, and filled my heart with more gratitude than I can put into words.

Baby Rhys, one day you’ll see these photos and know that before we ever held you in our arms, we loved you with our whole hearts.

With Baby Rhys arriving soon, I had a few maternity photo ideas in my head and very little time to pull them together. Thankfully, @jadeanthoni jumped right in and helped turn those ideas into memories I’ll cherish forever.
