On Thursday, the LCR Music Board held its bi-monthly meeting at Adlib in Knowsley, kindly hosted by board member Andy Doherty.

Before we got down to planning for the Liverpool City Region music sector, Andy treated us to a tour of the fantastic facility. We were hugely impressed by what we saw.

Thank you to Andy and the team at @adlib.co.uk for welcoming us!

Now the dust has settled on last night, all we can say is thank you and wow!

Thank you to the DJ’s, thank you to our incredible community and thank you to everyone that made our launch party at @communeliverpool a night to remember yesterday

To see a sea of caps, to hear Dutch, Irish, French (and many other accents) on the dance floor, smiles, hands in the air and good energy throughout, there really is no other party like a Get to Funk party

At one point we really did think @fenn.uk and @elzi.uk were going to physically take the roof off of Commune as well

We now move onto our double header of parties at @thebigromance & @monophonic1890 in Dublin next week, before a HUGE party back in Liverpool in December (news coming in September)

If you came, see you at the next one, if you weren’t able to come…now you know not to wait around next time!

Get to Funk 🪩❤️

@itsmrkai has come over from Stockport to kick off proceedings and you best believe he’s playing the funkiest grooves 🕺

We’ve also stuck ten more tickets on Skiddle (link in last story) so be quick if you want to get involved in the hottest party in town
