This past June I had the amazing opportunity to serve on staff with @ntscamp for 3/7 of there weeks of camp as an intern for @claimyourcampus. My love and gratitude for Never The Same, it’s full time staff and all that comes with camp has only grown since last year! I am so beyond blessed to say I got to come back for 2nd year in a row.
The number one thing I feel I said all day every day during camp was “thank you Lord”. So many things happened yet am grateful for it all, am thankful for being at both Indiana Wesleyan University in Indiana and Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, thankful that I got to teach 18 academy courses on Prayer, grateful that I got to do stages announcements for Claim Your Campus twice. Am thankful to have seen the incredible gift that @nicolesmithee @daveyblackburn and my favorite @itsoliviawilliamson have at speaking at camp. Am so thankful for all the wonderful people the Lord has brought into my life and for the ones that have been in my life before NTS camp this year and how they got stonger! Am thankful that my t-shirt folding skills have improved after folding 100’s of t-shirts. I would even go has far has saying am thankful for my 3in rug burn because it makes me appreciate my overlooked strong yet healthy body. I would even say I have a new sense of appreciation for GOOD LOCAL coffee shops iykyk. But more importantly I am so thankful that I got to witness 295 students give there life’s to Christ for the first time, 1,322 students recommitted there life’s to Christ, and 305 students be called to ministry. I am thankful for all of this and for so so much more for different reasons but the main being that the Lord has me right where he wants me and that fact that he wants me apart of it and witnessing it all happen makes me thankful for the rest of my life, because frankly I don’t deserve it yet here I am and God has just been so beyond good to me! I feel in a sense all of these words don’t and can’t even greatly explain how incredible yet so beautiful this past month was! And the impact it had on my life! Thank You Lord for allowing me to be apart of something so extraordinary!!

I’ve been putting off posting and writing this because wrestling has been such a huge part of my life. Not only the friends but the family it has brought to my life and made me into the person that I am today. My season ended a week shorter than I had always dreamed it would have. Going up as a little kid watching the “big kids” wrestle under the lights like they were superstars the week of state was something that I always loved doing then when I got into high school that was my ultimate goal. Coming into these state series tournaments I was more confident than ever that I was going to finally make it to state and be one of those “big kids” that I loved watching years ago. After sectionals I was thrown off my sense of rhythm, but there aren’t any excuses nor can I do anything about it now. I am grateful for every second that wrestling has brought me whether that’s Yorktown club practices at the young age of 5 or wrestling on a random team in another state or this short ended senior wrestling season. I love my team and will always be there for each and every one of them and will continue helping any way I can but for the next season when I’m gone I wish them luck and to take every second in because the end comes to fast. This has probably made it sound like I’m done wrestling entirely but I’m not I’m grateful that I will be continuing my wrestling career throughout college and with the right partners and coaching at @manchesteruniversity I can’t wait to be in a different level of “big kids” under the lights.

Starting in middle school, I struggled with my body image. Starting in middle school, my interest for photography grew. With one small prayer, God left a big impact on me. I began to see myself how God saw me. I also saw how a good photo of myself + experience had such a positive effect. From starting my business in high school to now, all I have wanted is to provide a loving space where people leave seeing the beauty in themselves that Christ sees in them everyday. On Friday night, that mission continued.💌
