🧡 Thank you SO much to everyone who came out to celebrate another abundant season with us at Harvest Fest! We had so much fun dancing, learning, and connecting with everyone, and it would not have been possible without you, our incredible community.

🥰 An especially big thank you to all of our volunteers, workshop leaders, musicians, youth, community tables, local artists, and photographers who helped facilitate and capture this day - it is your dedication and joy that makes this work possible!

🌱 Want to continue to see free community events like this in Somerville? Stay in touch! Between our Seeds of Support fundraiser next week and our upcoming tree planting, there are still lots of ways to get involved, and we can’t wait to keep seeing you all this Fall 🍂

Jade Faria ladies and gentlemen. Put her on your radar!

Jade Faria is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and producer from São Paulo whose music draws on the traditions of Brazilian popular music while embracing contemporary production. She released her debut EP, Solar, in 2022, a collection of original songs that she co-produced and arranged herself. Her background is notably interdisciplinary: she studied Performing Arts at the University of São Paulo before coming to Berklee, where she has pursued music production and sound engineering. Her work combines songwriting, performance, arranging, and production, and she has collaborated with artists including François Muleka, Luiza Brina, and Diego Xavier.

Faria has also been part of Berklee’s Summer in the City, Boston’s free outdoor concert series featuring Berklee students, faculty, and alumni at public spaces throughout Boston and Cambridge. The series presents hundreds of free performances during the summer, covering genres from jazz and R&B to Brazilian music, pop, folk, and classical music. Faria’s appearances have brought her Brazilian-influenced songwriting to this informal public stage, including performances at the Prudential Center and other Boston-area venues. Summer in the City is particularly appealing because it turns everyday public spaces into concert venues, allowing audiences to discover emerging musicians like Faria without tickets or a traditional concert-hall setting.
