1200+ lifters. 11 sessions. It both feels like a long weekend and a flash you can time with a stopwatch. Last slide has a surprise.

Grateful for great times with great folks. For love of the game. Next up: IDFPA Student and university worlds in Tampa!

USA Powerlifting WI!!

Here’s what your State Co-Chairs are here for (along with our caffeine).

We’re here to provide clarity, structure, and support —
so meets run smoothly, standards stay consistent,
and everyone has a positive experience.

Athlete. Referee. Meet Director. Coach. Spectator.
If you’re part of USA Powerlifting WI, you matter.

When in doubt, reach out because stronger communication builds a stronger state.

‼️VOTING IS NOW OPEN‼️

All USAPL Wisconsin powerlifters, voting for your next Chair is open and will be open until midnight of December 11th.

As some of you may know, Wisconsin is one of the largest member bases in the country. We feel that it is important to have three individuals as Co-State Chair to better serve the state of Wisconsin so that we can better serve you all!

Collectively, we have over 30 years of experience within USA Powerlifting Wisconsin. We all bring unique experiences to the table and that is what makes us feel capable of helping lead Wisconsin to greater standards.

Over the last few years, we have seen Wisconsin powerlifting grow. But we want to strengthen communication across the state. Continue to support our current meet directors and help lead new meet directors by providing clearer and more accessible systems. We want to also strengthen the state by expanding meet opportunities throughout Wisconsin, including Central Wisconsin, Northwoods, and Southern Wisconsin.
With experience ranging from directing local meets to coordinating large multi-platform state events, we’re ready to help Wisconsin powerlifting continue to grow from the ground up.

We would be honored to receive your vote for the opportunity to serve and help Wisconsin powerlifting grow. Go into your email inbox to find an email ‘Wisconsin State Chair Voting’ or follow this link: form.jotform.com/usapowerlifting/2026-state-chair-election and cast your vote today!

We are thrilled to announce our candidacy as Co–State Chair candidates for USA Powerlifting Wisconsin! @usapowerliftingwi

As referees, meet directors, coaches, and athletes, we’ve each experienced this community from every angle — and we care deeply about supporting the lifters, volunteers, and directors who make Wisconsin powerlifting what it is.

Our goals as Co–State Chair candidates are to strengthen communication across the state, support our meet directors, and create clearer, more accessible systems for new and returning hosts. We’re committed to mentoring upcoming referees, recognizing the volunteers who keep our meets running, and helping every lifter — from first-timer to Nationals — have a fair and positive experience.

We also hope to continue expanding meet opportunities throughout Wisconsin, including growing events in Central Wisconsin, bringing new meets to the Northwoods and Southern Wisconsin. With experience ranging from directing local meets to coordinating large multi-platform state events, we’re ready to help Wisconsin powerlifting continue to grow from the ground up.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve and are excited for the future of Wisconsin Powerlifting.

We would be honored to receive your vote! Be on the lookout for an email on where you can cast!

Day 4 and done! Chief reffed today with some great refs and this spotting and loading crew from University of Alabama absolutely crushed it—making light work of 29 lifters.

No misloads ✅
No relifts ✅
No overturned calls ✅

Good way to end this long 4 day meet. 👍

…and more pics with the homies. 🫶

Usapl Minnesota is BACK. Had such a great time.

Very thankful to @jenthompson132 for all her coaching. She is the strongest 51 year old in both strength and character. I’m so lucky to learn from her both in and out of the gym.

And thanks to @salvadormunoz3017 for being my handler at this competition and at home 😜😘
