A sneak peek into Avery + Jaden’s engagement session in Huntsville last week 🪷🦋

This shoot was so much fun to direct and photograph. Avery and Jaden share the most giddy, magnetic, God-centered love of any two people I think I’ve ever worked with. It has been so cool being a part of the day that Jaden proposed and now all of the fun moments leading up to their wedding next June. These sort of relationships I get to create with my clients is easily one of the biggest blessings of this job.

The most incredible day spent at @rhodeslanding alongside a dream team of talented artists in Florence, bringing this unforgettable wedding vision to life.

Every detail was thoughtfully layered to create a richly saturated tablescape—from custom linens and citrus topiaries to heirloom china, sparkling crystal, and abundant blooms—all coming together to create the perfect setting for celebrating newlyweds. A festive punch, nestled atop a floral and citrus wreath, welcomed guests alongside the wedding cake, both displayed on more custom linens and framed by the breathtaking courtyard and its stunning water feature.

A little rain certainly didn’t dampen our spirits. If anything, it made the day even more magical—and as they say, rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck.

This shoot was truly a labor of love, and I’m so grateful to have collaborated with such an incredibly talented group of creatives. Be sure to follow each of these amazing artists for endless inspiration and keep them in mind as you plan your next celebration.
