To surrender means to stop fighting, give up control, or hand over possession of something to another person or power

It’s easy to see this word in a negative light. It’s easy to think about surrendering as a form of quitting, or accepting defeat. However, when you bring God into the picture this word becomes beautiful

To surrender your entire life to God is not a move of weakness but one of faith and courage. To let go of control and to trust that’s the Lords will for your life is infinitely better than your own, is something that brings more peace and freedom than you could ever imagine.

Galatians 2:20
Paul writes
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
