Day 1 of @nzfashionwk marked The Art of Style, the opening-night show curated by NZFW Creative Director Dan Ahwa @danahwa .

The Art of Style explored the relationship between fashion, performance and art, bringing new-season collections into conversation with pieces from New Zealand’s creative past and present.

@thefashionaunties especially loved seeing the different cultures represented through different kākahu, watching our stunning Indigenous models on the runway and the incorporatinon of dance.
