As we gather on the pier to face west and let the last of the summer rays warm our faces, the stress of the city begins to fade away. The laughter and music from our friends surround us, drowning out the sirens and traffic of Gotham.

Soon, the sky darkens, our muscles weaken, and the chill of the Hudson’s breeze begins to creep in. Skating home, the pack thins to a solo skate. The cool air becomes heavy, yet the thought of our daily thrash keeps us warm as we make our way home safely.

The seasons may be changing, but not our love for street skating, the community, and the memories.

To the NYC Bladies, NYC Skate Junkies, and the New York Street Rollerbladers—all veterans—the end of a season begins the crew-skating cycle to keep the roll alive.

See you all soon.

The type of feeling you get when you ride with the Wednesday night skate family. Smiles, hugs and peace signs are the currency exchanged on various NY corners when skaters find each other through the crowd. Rolling in Style Everyday Summer nights 2026. #risezine365 @laxtheblader @jadexpierre

Her Tattoos is what drew me to her and the fact that I shot the whole thing in Black and white was definitely something she agreed in my choosing so.
