The rumors are true—RUMORES is coming to Morristown! 🤍

Inspired by our Cicala-Cedeño family roots in Italy, Ecuador, and the United States, Rumores will be a café and social house made for gathering, sharing stories, and staying a little longer.

Come for organic coffee and tea, cacao, soups, and sourdough bread. Stay for alcohol-free mocktails, weekend game nights, local farmers, and special events. We’re creating a warm place to slow down, laugh, and enjoy being together.

We’re just getting started. Follow [@rumoresmorristown] for a peek behind the scenes and updates as our dream comes to life.

Soon these two will be 26. 🤍

They grew up in the salon, doing homework after school — and trust me, they hated it. 😂 They went off to college, found their own paths… and somehow, they both found their way back.

For a few years, we stopped growing the team because we wanted to give them the time and space to discover if this was really what they wanted.

And look at them now. Our kids, our team, our business partners.

Working with family comes with dreams, celebrations, challenges… and a whole lot of learning along the way. But we wouldn’t change the evolution.

As for me? I’m slowing down a little, stepping more into building, managing and investing in what comes next. Don’t worry, I’m not retiring anytime soon. 😉

We’ve built a lot together. Now we’re wondering… what will our next adventure be? 🤫

Pronto estos dos cumplen 26. 🤍

Hemos construido mucho juntos. Ahora la pregunta es… ¿cuál será nuestra próxima aventura? 🤫

We all know where we buy our food…
but do we know the farmers who make it possible?

Yesterday for Earth Day, I was with @sageandsoulmorristown at a beautiful event with @davinesnorthamerica learning about regenerative organic farming, soil, and the people behind our food.

A reminder: our food isn’t just fuel.

It’s our gut health.
our energy.
our skin and hair.
our focus.
our mood.
our life in this planet.

And none of that starts at the store. It starts in the soil.

I grew up on a farm in Ecuador, where the land was rich, the fruits and vegetables tasted real, and everything came straight to our table.

I didn’t realize how lucky I was.

Now, building @moosa.nature in the U.S. with fruits from Ecuador and Colombia, it feels even more meaningful. It’s about connecting my two countries: Ecuador and the U.S. through farming, responsible sourcing, and people who truly care.

Yesterday, thanks to @rodaleinstitute @jefftkach I learned so much from the people working to educate farmers and protect soil in the USA, and this is where real change happens.

Loved connecting with communities around food, like @cherrybombe supporting women entrepreneurs in the food and beverage world and brands that share my values as an entrepreneur, who truly care about helping people and are responsible with the origin and sourcing of their products like @painterlandsisters @sageandsoulmorristown @davinesnorthamerica

Also inspired by the @the.rewildingcollective and celebrating my friend @dinasamra , the founder, whose birthday fell right on Earth Day.

Wellness and health can’t become just a trend. We need to stay educated and pay attention to the origin of the products we are giving to our body and the community behind it. 🌍🌱
