Over our last waananga. Tane were asked to remove their armour. There were some tough and heavy armour that walked through our doors.

The Tane allowed themselves to remove the armour they had on. A protection for some since they were kids.

As a Tane this is hard to do because that protection was built for a reason. TO BE SAFE FROM ANYTHING THATS HURT THEM.

This waananga their armour was removed and placed next to them, so they could do the mahi that they did.

In wise words from Tuks “There’s nothing wrong with having an armour. But put it back on when you need it. Not all the time”.
