@theblackseeds started out in Wellington and turned roots reggae and dub into the soundtrack of countless Kiwi summers. @jaedynrandell stepped into the spotlight as a teenager voicing Moana in te reo Māori, and is now shaping a sound that's entirely her own.

One band with decades behind them, one artist just getting started, and a song that means a lot to a lot of people.

We’re delighted to welcome Matu Ngaropo and Jaedyn Randell to the Auckland Phil stage for Christmas Cheer, a sparkling celebration full of singalong carols, seasonal favourites and orchestral classics featuring @thegraduatechoirnz.

And for our little music lovers, Jojo and Buzz from children's TV show Toi Time @toitime.nz are back! 🎶 After delighting audiences in 2024, they’re returning for this year's Tunes 4 Tamariki: Kirihimete, bringing plenty of festive fun for tamariki and their grown-ups.
