Oh how I loved freshman year!
A year filled with growth, healing, and a newfound passion! Thank you Lander acro for welcoming me with open arms and giving me a place to fall in love with a sport all over again. This year has taught me so much beyond acro. I am so grateful for each of my teammates and my coaches for giving me a home away from home. Walking away from this season as conference champions, 5L acro champions, and getting to take 5L to nationals all in my first year was way more than I could’ve ever expected and I am beyond grateful for every moment. To our seniors, thank you for all that you have done for me and for this program. You all have taught me so much and I look up to each one of you. I am so excited to see what the next three years have in store, but so thankful for all Lander acro has already given me!

Our next freshman is #31 Jaidyn Simonetti !! JY brings the laughter and smiles to practice everyday and we LOVE her!!!

A fun fact about Jay is that she has 4 African dwarf frogs and a hermit crab! 💛💙

JY’s favorite thing about Lander Acro is “the bond the team has because everyone pushes eachother to be better but also while supporting and loving eachother ”
