Day 1 at CREi Summit in Savannah! 🤍

What a way to kick things off!

After flying into Savannah, I somehow ran into Brendan Weiss almost immediately! The exact same thing happened when I arrived in Las Vegas for ICSC! 🩷 Jailyn Smith, Brandon, and I headed to the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District.

Mark Kessler and Kessler Development created something truly incredible with this property. It’s so much more than a beautiful hotel. It feels like a luxury hotel, natural history museum and art gallery all in one. The fossils, gemstones, guitars and other displays throughout the property are unbelievable!

That evening, we headed to Vic’s on the River for dinner, where I hosted a table. One of my favorite parts of the night was realizing that I only knew one person at the table, Emily McDonnell. That gave me the opportunity to meet Christopher W. Peterson, Jenna Burnett, Mikala Allee, Mikela Davis, Kaitlyn Ruiz and Liam Iossa and make so many new connections.

With beautiful views of the Savannah River, ships passing by and incredible energy throughout the room, it was the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening. ❤️

A huge thank-you to Ken Ashley, founder of CREi Summit, for building such an incredible community of commercial real estate influencers and creators on social media. This is only my second year attending, and I’m so happy to be back!

And that was just Day 1! ✨

ICSC Las Vegas ✨

Grateful for a week full of meaningful conversations, new opportunities, and reconnecting with some of the best in the business. There’s nothing like being in a room (or a few rooms… and a few cocktail bars, parties and pools. 😉) with people who are actively shaping the future of retail and development.

From early morning meetings to late-night deal talk and cigar bars, this trip was a reminder that relationships are everything in this business. The deals will come-but the connections we build are what make it all happen.

Excited about what’s ahead-new sites, new partnerships, and big things coming back home to Louisiana.

Now trading the Vegas lights for a little beach time and a Dave Matthews soundtrack at the Wharf.

Started the trip by literally running into Brandon Weiss the second I walked into Encore 😂

Such a full day of reconnecting, learning, speaking, and celebrating amazing people in this industry.

Loved speaking at the ICSC Women’s Event with Nancy Mozzachio & Ann Sachs 💕
Hosted a packed social media branding roundtable with Karly 🎤
Caught up with so many incredible people including Michelle Buckley, Skylar from Kimco 👑, Courtney Ettus, Julie Fox, Carmelita, Jenn Quader, Elizabeth Ames, Lindsey Barden, Kristian Cotta, Amy Calandrino, Dan Harold, Linda Day Harrison, Jaidyn Smith & more.

Big shoutout to Kristian Cotta — we do a lot of business together and he’s the one who helped connect me with my website and branding support 🙌

Also loved hearing from Randi Zuckerberg, Tom McGehee, Aaron Andrews, and the powerhouse women at the Pivot to Power panel featuring Jodi McLean.
